Work hard play hard
I would first like to acknowledge that the city of Calgary is located in Treaty 7 Territory. This includes the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and Métis peoples.
About me: Similar to my peers, I am a B.Sc. Honours Neuroscience & Mental Health graduate from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. After graduating in May 2021, I moved to Jasper, Alberta to live the good life in the mountains. I bounced around mountain towns, where I hiked, biked, and skied to my heart’s desire. In September 2022, I returned to reality. I began my Masters in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Hill. I am studying the effects of cannabis use on adolescent brain development using rodent models of cannabis vapour exposure and MRI techniques. I have a fascination with all things neuropharmacology and I am very excited to share my insights with you here.

Fav Neuro Book: "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story"
This book and its film adaptation are what sparked my interest in neuroscience when I was twelve years old!
